Downfall Humanity – Cloak of Deceit
The Rawalpindi based metallers, Downfall Humanity, are out with their new song titled Cloak of Deceit. Check it out! Tight riffage but the vocals kind of put me off. The composition is also more variable in relation to some of Downfall Humanity’s earlier releases. A highly recommended listen.

Wreckage – Vengeance
Wreckage, keeping to the Rawalpindi Metal Scene’s strictly upheld tradition of making us unworthy alien folks tremble in fear with every single release, has just put out their first song, Vengeance. Vengeance is a combination of killer vocals, some nice Death tinged Thrash riffage and a bad-ass sense of production by Jonathan Jones (of Venom Vault fame). 2010 seems kind of promising.

Sorr Makhaam – Promo (Ambient Black Metal from Islamabad)
I don’t really know a lot about this band. Lord Wernahul of Abyssed introduced me to the band.
I haven’t actually given it a proper listen so I can’t form an opinion just yet. Nevertheless, this is an authentic piece of Ambient/Depressive Black Metal along the lines of some Sombres Forêts. This is a highly recommended release.
