You know I’m a BIG Fan of Dementia and have always admired their work in the Pakistani Underground and When their New song “Sworn Annihilation” was Released a few Days Back , I Just had to review it here on Iron Markhor . I Know that the Regular Reviewers here Mr Hassan and Mr Asad could do 100 times better Job then Me but i just had to review their new song . Let me Start By Saying this is My First Review on Iron Markhor , Actually its my first Review Any Where so I’m gona keep it very short and to the point because if I Don’t it Might get a Little Idiotic Because i Stop Making Sense if i get Too Much into Details . Let me Get Started by Saying that Dementia is One of the Harshest and Most Heaviest Bands in Pakistan and they Should be Proud about their Work . This Song “Sworn Annihilation” Is a Fucking Masterpiece and No Offence to the band or anything but to me their best song Yet.

The Song Start with a very Calm but Chilling Tone . The Bells Tell You to relax but also at the back of your mind you suspect something big is about to happen . As soon as the Keyboards come in at first it seems very soothing and a Weird change of pace for Dementia but in about 3 or 4 secs the Melody gets very dark and thats when I knew this is gona be pretty ass kicking . As the First Riff Enters it Gives you a Big slap from Your day dreams and wakes you up like hell. i loved that , although i do have one complaint . Dementia should have made the intro more suffering if you know what i mean . Anyhow , the Vocals Kick in and let me say The Vocalist Mr Omer has done a remarkable job with the vocals , The Riff Behind the First Verse sounds incredible and in-the-mid-Harmony part was pretty good. Kind of Predictable but still not bad , The Post Verse Kicks in and the ring of the Ride Cymbal is just addicting . and in a split sec the whole thing goes silent . This is what i Love about Dementia , just like in the Previous Song (The Plague) They did the exact Same thing , it was totally unexpected and sounded absolutely brilliant . The Silence is Ended with a kick ass Riff which is the Specialty of Mr Raza and Farhan . The Lyrics Kick in Again and the Riffs Matched with the Drumming is Very Headbangable to , Hell I headbanged like hell the first time I heard the Song . The Second Verse Starts Again and  with the Chorus the Song has its First Breakdown , And as soon as the first set of Riffs are Silenced the New Riff Starts which Signified the Start of a Fucking Ass Bashing and at 2:30 Onwards it gets really really thrashy and shit.. i Specially Love the Part with the Toms going in the back along with the Rhythm like Many of Slayers Songs . an After a While The Solo Begins and Oh Boy What a Fucking Great Solo it was..
Now Let me Tell You that i wasnt a Fan of Raza’s Solos , iv Known the Guy for About 2 Years now Through a Community on ORKUT called “Guitarist Paki” and No Offence to Raza but his solos always seemed more on the speedy side but Never on the Rhythmic Side , but Boy oh Boy did Raza  Blow My Ass Away With This Solo. it Came out Of Nowhere . Started in a been-there-done-that kind of Way but was Kind of New and Over Flowing With Feel and the Rhythm on the back suited the Theme and feel of the song Perfectly.. this solo was just mind blowing it kept coming back and getting more spectacular then a few seconds before .By Far the best Solo Raza has ever Made and Im Sure he’s gona make us Drool even more in the Next Song .

The Bass on this Song was Pretty Good At Some Parts but mostly it was In-Audible , Maybe next Time they should Turn it up in the Mix . Now when Personally i listen to a song i pay Attention of Guitars and Drums More over Anything Else. The Guitars Were Spectacular , From the Riffs to the Composition to the Tone it was just amazing , And the Drums on this Song Sounded Pretty Good and We’re Arranged Brilliantly . Although i do have some Complaints about em , that The Kick and Snare were Too loud Compared to the Rest of the Kit .. The Crashes and Hat were Very Hard To hear and Most of the Time I had to Listen VERY Closely to find out What Cymbal Was being Played . Im Sure These Guys will Fix it in Their Next Song.. and as Far as The Lyrics Are Concerned Because i Couldnt Understand a Word Written im Presuming they were Awesome .. hahaha.. just kidding , No The Lyrics Were Very good and the Composition of the Lyrics was Done Beautifully .

In Conclusion i dont have ALOT of Complaints with this Song because to me it was one of THE Best Songs Produced in the Pakistani Metal Underground and Dementia at Their Best.. I Would Just like to Thanks Dementia for this Amazing Piece of Music and Would Like to Apologize to the Readers if I Made some Mistakes or Something in the Review , Like i Said this is my First Review and im not Sure how its Done so Mistakes are Bound To Happen , I Hope you Enjoyed this Review and im Sure as Fucking Hell You have Enjoyed Dementia’s New Song .
