I was caught off-guard with this teaser. A part of me was expecting something in the progressive/technical death metal vein, considering Lead Guitarist Ibrahim Imdad’s (who did a live gig with Odyssey, by the way) excellent taste in that side of the metal spectrum. This is still very cool, I’m getting a nice Kalmah vibe from this. I’m interested in how the full single will turn out.

Newly recruited bassist Ahmad Abbass (ex- Aitchison College Music Society) commented for The Iron Markhor: “It’s a different approach than one would expect from a band like Ruin, but I’m certain it’s going to turn out awesome with Ibzi’s guitar work and Bhatty’s sinister vocals.”
