Black Warrant are out with their new song, Wasteful Indulgence in Bliss. I guess it’d be well described as Industrial/Groove/Metalcore type shit with some killer vocals that remind one of Dimmu Borgir – among others. Vocals are definitely the hilight. Check it out here. Now this one slid completely through our radar, proving that sometimes in our close-knit heavy metal scene, something can come out of nowhere and take you by surprise. This is a CLASSY track by Lahore based prog metal band “Project X-Pyre.” It’s called Repulsive Contraction and you can check it out on their Reverbnation.

6LA8 is a Karachi-based post-rock band by Taimur and Omer from Aus Rine. I did a little feature on these guys on the Markhor when their album came out. You know bands just starting out in Pakistan hardly have any other platform. Little did I know though, that MTV Desi would catch wind and make a post about it. Well, they got featured on MTV Desi.
